Wow, reading the comments this seems like possibly the nicest, best-maintained Allroad on Earth. Only dealer serviced since new, single owner for 14 years.

I noticed that on BaT, not even the most unreliable car is not called unreliable. “I had one, great car. 2,000 trouble free miles. Had to put in a new transmission and replace the air suspension, but that’s normal on these “

I think that award might go to my neighbor, his has 170k on it! Also a 6 speed and fantastic green.

hahaha, I know all the commenters are like, “great in the snow!” and such. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I would LOVE to know how much was spent on maintenance at that dealer over 14 years. Hell I’ve spent $4k on my E46 in 5 years NOT at a dealer, and doing some work myself no less.

Wow, I’m impressed! I mean, these cars CAN be maintained and driven to a high mileage, if you’re willing to keep throwing money at them.

Me too. I thought he was messing with me when he told me the mileage but apparently having another home in the Dakotas means a lot of miles.
If you look closely, you can see the PPF on the front end as well. Pretty much puts my automotive upkeep to shame.

My mechanic has been driving his all-road for 6 years. When he bought it, he replaced all the engine bits that needed work, replaced front airbags with aftermarket life-time airbags, and he says it’s been trouble-free since then.
As much as I like them, I am not sure I’d have the guts to do so, but I guess it is easier when you know how to replace things on your own, and better yet, how to identify issues.
